THERE CAN ONLY BE 1! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

πŸ† Tonight is the Night.πŸ†

The stage is set.
All the practice and hard work has been put in.
The race is on.
And at the end of it all. . .

There can only be one, Gran Turismo South African Champion!

Your top 15 drivers from this season's Gran Turismo South Africa League are battling it out, head to head, tonight in the Showdown series which is set to be of cataclysmic proportions!

3 races, different cars, with only 1 Champion being crowned at the end of it all.

All the drivers have been putting in the final preparations for the races this evening, which will host a mixed bag of conditions that will prove to provide some predictable and hopefully unpredictable outcomes, which we hope will help the cream of the crop, shine out from the rest.

This season is coming to an end, but not until one driver, writes their name into GTSA history.

The first of the 3 races, the drivers find themselves tackling a BMW M3 around the tricky tarmac of the Autodrome Lago Maggiore.

A short sprint which will provide close racing action in one of the most Iconic cars of its generation. Weather forecast will be a clear day, butthat doesn't mean the car won't be a handful as the drivers are provided Sports tyres for a surface that does not have that much grip

Race 2 tonight, is one of age old tradition, with a twist!
A short sprint of the Nurburgring GP circuit, with some Gr3 machinery of the drivers choice.
Fortunately, Kazunori Yamauchi-San was kind enough to make this weeks Daily Race C similar in context, apart from the fact that GTSA admins called upon the rain God's to provide an added surprise in tonight battle.

Cars of choice seem to be between the Porsche 911 GT3, Genesis X and BMW M6 Sprint GT3, for their handling and speed around the corners and over bumps, respectively.

This will also prove to be action packed as drivers will do their best to keep their noses facing the right direction.

Race 3, will be our longer Endurance style race, which will ultimately decide our GTSA Champion. With Double points on offer, the drivers are tasked to tackle a weather mindfield, around one of the most challenging race in history.

Tackling the 24 hour layout of the infamous Le Mans circuit in on of the most innovative and challenging cars, the Redbull X2019 competition, and trying to come to terms with low grip, high speed, and immediate power from a car that is extremely lively, will be the ultimate test of champions!

Quite the perfect mix to crown our King if you ask me.

Points on offer are much the same as last weeks Wildcard Race, with the driver with the most points taking the ultimate crown.

No benefits have been provided by the individual league winners, apart from bragging rights.

And finally, these are your contenders.

Who do you place your bets to be, this seasons, Gran Turismo South Africa Champion?
