Gran Turismo Manufacturers League Drivers Set to Ignite Goodwood Motor Circuit in Season Finale!

The iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit is gearing up for an electrifying week as the Gran Turismo Manufacturers League Drivers take to the track in their Gr.4 cars for one last showdown this season.

This legendary 3.862km circuit, renowned for hosting the Annual Festival of Speed, will open its full layout for this thrilling event. While it often sees classic cars racing, this week it will be the stage for the new spec model race cars, driven by our top contenders.



As the final event of the season, this race is the last chance for drivers to rack up crucial points to secure their spots in the ultimate showdown or the wildcard races. 

Leading the charge are Levitius in his Ferrari, SBR_Ruan in his McLaren, GhostKilla_Pace in his Nissan, VSR_Gilarabrwyn in his Chevy, and Ojjds in his surprising Aston. 


But hot on their heels are SMP3_Pro, PBR_GT_RSA, CAV-R_Hollywood, RBS_GT_Racing, and Kennels_uG, all vying for a wildcard spot. The winner of the wildcard race will pave the way for two drivers from both leagues to make it to the final showdown.



The drivers will be circulating the track 31 times, with pitstops being a must, as the drivers are required to use the full range of tyre sets. Weather forecasts show that it will be a fairly clear day so use of the Intermediate and Wet racing tyres are unlikely.


The action on track promises to be red hot, and there’s no better venue than Goodwood to set the scene for this high-octane finale!



With the season drawing to a close, all eyes are on the Gran Turismo South Africa Admin team to see what they have in store to close off this year and what they have up their sleeve for the 2025 season.

The absence of the usual front-runners opened the door for a spectacular showcase of speed and strategy, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.
